Irene Herrmann is well known
locally as a musician. She is staff accompanist at UC Santa Cruz
and performs with New
Music Works. Food and music have always been her two passions.
In her many travels she has made a special effort to eat great food and

Daniel Steinberg
When not over-taxed by his career
as a computer programmer, Daniel Steinberg devotes his time to his two
passions-music and food. He performs regularly on piano and flute
with the Hillbillies
from Mars and other Bay Area musicians, and he directs the World
Harmony Chorus, a community choir based in Mountain View and Berkeley.
Daniel got his first job at age 17 as a baker in a restaurant in Eugene,
Oregon on the recommendation, "He has the soul of a baker," and he's been
experimenting and learning about cooking ever since.
