Artichoke Dip
(appetizer for about 8)
Wash, trim all inedible leaf portions and choke, and steam:
3-4 artichokes (or use 6 baby artichokes)
 
Blend with:
1 c grated parmesan
5 cloves  garlic
1/4 c olive oil
salt, as necessary
 
Heat in a casserole dish in the oven and serve with warm french or italian bread.
Notes & Variations:
  1. Use freshly grated parmesan if possible.
